Piscinas El Pilar builds and renovates concrete pools in Gran Alacant, the residential area of Santa Pola set on the hillside a few minutes from Carabassí beach. We work with our own crew, publish our guide prices and give you a written quote after a free site visit. We have been building and renovating pools in the south of Alicante for more than 15 years.
Many plots in Gran Alacant are on a slope. The gradient, the type of ground and machine access are the first things we check on the visit, because they change the price more than anything else.
Excavation, steel reinforcement and sprayed concrete: the shell is formed in one piece, with no joints. Size and shape are designed around your plot.

Get a guide priceMany homes in Gran Alacant have had a pool for years. When it loses water, the tiles lift or the coping is cracked, a full renovation usually works out better than fixing one problem at a time.
We strip the old finish, waterproof the shell and lay new tiles. Close to the sea, low-absorption porcelain stands up to salt better than traditional glass mosaic.
In summer it is normal to lose 3 to 6 mm of water a day. If the level drops more than 1 or 2 cm a day, there is probably a leak.
